To engage every man in America with a credible offer of Christ and with resources to grow.

Serving church leaders who are reaching men.

If you take virtually every problem in America today, at the root of it you will find the failure of a man (e.g. 93% of prisoners are male and 85% of these come from fatherless homes). Today there are approximately 98,000,000 men in America, 63,000,000 of which don't know Christ. Only 8,000,000 of these are active in discipleship. This would be the equivalent of 12 guys playing on a football team and only 1 of them knowing how to play football.

Now, no man fails on purpose – most wake up in the morning wanting to succeed.

Our desire at Man in the Mirror is to come along side pastors and men’s ministry leaders who are equipping men for success.

A Bulletin Insert Survey by Patrick Morley

How many churches do you know who have measured their effectiveness in making disciples? Probably not very many!

That’s because not everyone agrees on the importance of making disciples, not everyone agrees on what a disciple is, and it’s difficult to measure effectiveness. Let’s look at these three issues, and then introduce a simple bulletin insert survey you can administer to better understand the effectiveness of your church in disciple-making.

Importance: The Mission of the Church

The last words of Jesus were, “Go and make disciples...” A central mission of the church is to “make disciples...” More millions of people and more billions of dollars have been mobilized by this brief message than any other speech in recorded history.
