Dear Black Brother, I have labored for racial reconciliation since 1980 but, to be real honest, I've come to a standstill. Candidly, I have very little to show for the years. My real link to reconciliation was my friendship with Tom Skinner, but he died in 1994. Reconciliation has not turned out to be a very high return investment of time. I need a little boost, and I'm looking to you for help. But before I mention what I would like from you, please permit me to tell you a story.
