To engage every man in America with a credible offer of Christ and with resources to grow.

Serving church leaders who are reaching men.

If you take virtually every problem in America today, at the root of it you will find the failure of a man (e.g. 93% of prisoners are male and 85% of these come from fatherless homes). Today there are approximately 98,000,000 men in America, 63,000,000 of which don't know Christ. Only 8,000,000 of these are active in discipleship. This would be the equivalent of 12 guys playing on a football team and only 1 of them knowing how to play football.

Now, no man fails on purpose – most wake up in the morning wanting to succeed.

Our desire at Man in the Mirror is to come along side pastors and men’s ministry leaders who are equipping men for success.

Something of such significance is about to take place that "this month only" I would like to depart from the normal format of A Look in the Mirror. Still, I hope it will encourage your heart. -- Patrick

Since January, 1996, leaders of men's ministries have quietly been meeting a) to become to each other what we would like the men of America to become, and b) to ask God what we can do together that none of us could do alone. The results have been inspiring.

With unusual humility and setting aside personal agendas, these godly men have painstakingly sought the will of God for themselves, their ministries, the church, and the men of America. We have been prayerfully asking, "How can we reach every man in America with a credible offer of the gospel, encourage them to pursue God, and equip them for spiritual service?"

To help answer this question we have formed The National Coalition of Men's Ministries ("NCMM"). We have held many meetings, but three are unprecedented, and you are invited to the fourth.
