To engage every man in America with a credible offer of Christ and with resources to grow.

Serving church leaders who are reaching men.

If you take virtually every problem in America today, at the root of it you will find the failure of a man (e.g. 93% of prisoners are male and 85% of these come from fatherless homes). Today there are approximately 98,000,000 men in America, 63,000,000 of which don't know Christ. Only 8,000,000 of these are active in discipleship. This would be the equivalent of 12 guys playing on a football team and only 1 of them knowing how to play football.

Now, no man fails on purpose – most wake up in the morning wanting to succeed.

Our desire at Man in the Mirror is to come along side pastors and men’s ministry leaders who are equipping men for success.

Help Your Men Examine Themselves With Completion Statements E-mail

Help your men think more deeply about their lives. Second Corinthians 13:5 says, “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?” Socrates said, “The unexamined life is not worth living.”

It helps to have tools. Below are some completion statements. Print them for your men. Give them 15—20 minutes to write their answers (you too). Then ask each man to share with the group, “What surprised you most about this exercise and why?” Close by asking each man to write down any action steps he wants to take. You could go even deeper by asking the men to hold each other accountable for the changes they want to make.
