To engage every man in America with a credible offer of Christ and with resources to grow.

Serving church leaders who are reaching men.

If you take virtually every problem in America today, at the root of it you will find the failure of a man (e.g. 93% of prisoners are male and 85% of these come from fatherless homes). Today there are approximately 98,000,000 men in America, 63,000,000 of which don't know Christ. Only 8,000,000 of these are active in discipleship. This would be the equivalent of 12 guys playing on a football team and only 1 of them knowing how to play football.

Now, no man fails on purpose – most wake up in the morning wanting to succeed.

Our desire at Man in the Mirror is to come along side pastors and men’s ministry leaders who are equipping men for success.

"You're a Leader!" E-mail

No one ever told me, “You’re a leader!” Yet as I became a man, I was leading everywhere. But because no one had ever “released” or “blessed” me as a leader, I was well in my mid 40s before I started to get comfortable with people calling me a leader. Before then, I always deflected it.

In recent weeks I’ve been telling certain men, “You’re a leader!” The responses have been exhilarating. In every case you can feel their joy, recognition, and hope. In many cases you can also feel their discomfort. That’s when I get to tell them my story. We commiserate. But by the time we’re finished, they feel like they have been “acknowledged,” “released,” and “commissioned” to go and be a leader for the glory of God.
